Prof. Veena Tandon, the newly elected President of the ISP, has given a call to Scientists and academicians interested in reserach/teaching of parasite and the diseases these cause to man, animal and plants to join the ISP in large numbers. Those scientists who are life members are requested to convey the message to non members and encourage them to join. All those working on the distribution, structure, biology, ecology, pathogenicity and insects of medical, veterinary and agricultural importance are invited to become a life members. The Life Membership fee is Rs.2000. There is enough room for all of us in this Society. The protozoologist, helminthologists, animal, plant and soil nematologist, medical and veterinary entomologists etc. are all most welcome.
